About WQCAS

An independent check on who gets to certify.

WQCAS — World Quality Certification Accreditation Services — is a private, non-profit accreditation body incorporated in Indiana, USA. We audit voluntary, third-party certification bodies against internationally recognized ISO/IEC standards, confirming their competence and impartiality before their certificates reach the market.

How We're Funded

WQCAS is self-financing. We charge the conformity assessment bodies we accredit to cover operational costs — not the organizations those bodies go on to certify.

Vision

A market where every certificate can be trusted.

We see a conformity assessment landscape where a certificate issued anywhere carries the same weight everywhere — because the body behind it has been independently checked against the same international standard.

Mission

Accredit rigorously. Stay impartial.

Our mission is to assess certification, inspection, and personnel‑certification bodies with technical rigor and complete impartiality, and to make our scope of accreditation clear and easy to verify.

Our Network

WQCAS continues to expand collaboration with accreditation bodies around the world, in line with internationally recognized accreditation standards. Working across regions keeps our assessment practice current and our accredited bodies' certificates portable.

Governance

Impartiality is structural, not promotional. WQCAS does not certify the organizations our accredited bodies go on to assess — we accredit the bodies themselves, and only the bodies themselves.
